Work continues on the refurbishment of the Pembroke Street Bridge, with concrete being poured to help shore up the footings, piers and the surface underneath the structure. Special equipment was used to direct the cement from street level to underneath the bridge, where work crews applied it to where it is needed.

Construction will continue until November. Work on the upper surface of the bridge will begin in 2013.
