Return of the Festival of Trees
The Pheonix Centre will be hosting its first annual Festival of Trees Snowflake Gala at the Petawawa Civic Centre on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
After a tour down Christmas Tree Avenue to view the decorated trees and wreaths people will be served a dinner catered by Ullrich’s of Pembroke followed by dancing to music played by Curley’s Wife. During the gala a live auction will be held. It’s a great way to donate and shop for Christmas.
In attendance will be Santa and Mrs. Clause and a professional photographer will be taking pictures of the event to keep the fun memories alive.
Tickets cost $60. If a large group attends, the price is $50 per ticket. All proceeds go to the Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN) to assist children in need. Tickets can be bought at Custom Draperies in Pembroke, Furniture King in Petawawa, Kelsey’s Restaurant in Petawawa, Child Poverty Action Network and the Renfrew County United Way.
Before the gala, the public is welcomed to come view the trees on today from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, November 24 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations are welcome.
CPAN asks that the community comes out and enjoy the first annual Festival of Trees Snowflake Gala for $60 on Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Petawawa Civic Centre (library entrance).
