Finnish coach fuming at Team Canada's Groulx

Finnish bench boss Hannu Jortikka fumed following Monday night’s post-game press conference at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
Already peeved after being blown out by Team Canada at the world junior, Jortikka took aim at Canadian head coach Benoit Groulx for his remarks.
Not the remarks themselves.
Rather, how he said them.
According to Finnish media, Groulx’s French put Jortikka into a tizzy.

“I should have spoke Finnish,” Jortikka said, according to a tweet Finnish reporter Juha Hiitela.
Wasn’t just me who thought Groulx’s behavior was arrogant. Hannu Jortikka was too. ”I should have spoke Finnish."

International Ice Hockey Federation guidelines require all post-game press conferences to be in English or translated to English.
Jortikka followed those guidelines Monday night while Groulx has consistently ignored them for local media in Montreal.
Really, though, Jortikka’s beef should be with the IIHF, which is supposed to provide translation to English when native tongues are preferred.
