MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Alberta's Val Sweeting has moved into a tie for first place with Team Canada's Rachel Homan after three draws of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Sweeting made a quiet tap back to hold Nova Scotia's Mary-Anne Arsenault to a steal of one in the 10th end Sunday morning, allowing the Edmonton rink to escape with a 6-5 win at Mosaic Place.

Sweeting and Homan, who had a bye Sunday morning, both sit at 2-0. Homan beat Sweeting in last year's Scotties final.

Manitoba's Jennifer Jones, the reigning Olympic champ, and Suzanne Birt of Prince Edward Island are next in the pack at 1-0.

There are two more draws Sunday.
