Are you going Han Solo's way?

Zoe Kravitz, daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and former Cosby Show star Lisa Bonet, is among the actresses that have tried out for a role in the Star Wars spinoff film about the intergalactic smuggler, Variety reports.

The actress/singer, who has appeared in Mad Max: Fury Road and The Divergent series, participated in a screen test in London, England, for the female lead in the upcoming movie.

Like the largely forgotten Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV series, the untitled project will feature a more youthful version of an iconic character made famous by Harrison Ford.  Hail Caesar! star Alden Ehrenreich was tapped to play Solo back in May but little has been revealed about the plot.

The Empire Strikes Back screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, who is penning the film with his son Jon, said last year in a podcast, it would not be an origin story but would likely take place around a decade before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, MakingStars.net reported at the time.

"It will not be like here is where he was born and this is how he was raised," Kasdan said in The Empire Film Podcast. "I think what it will be is what was he like 10 years earlier, ya know maybe a little earlier you’ll get a glimpse but… what formed the person we meet in the cantina? It is not so much about his specific history. It is about what makes a person like that?"

This is the second round of screen tests LucasFilm and Disney have held for the role, which might be a love interest for Ehrenreich's Solo as he wouldn't be tied down to Leia yet.

Tessa Thompson (Creed, Veronica Mars) and Naomi Scott (Power Rangers) also auditioned for the female lead this time round, Variety reported.

Auditions have also been held for Solo's old friend/rival Lando Calrissian, who was played by Billy Dee Williams in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Donald Glover, of Community fame, was in the front-running but the studios still planned on a second round screen tests for that role as well, according to Variety.

Back in March, The Wrap.com reported that Solo's furry flying companion Chewbacca would also be in the film. Whether Peter Mayhew will don the costume again for the role is unclear.

The Han Solo film, which will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie), is slated to be released May 25, 2018.
