Trusted, fair, professional
On behalf of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Detachment, please accept our sincere condolences on Stephen’s passing.
He was a trusted name amongst the officers and always fair and professional.
He will be missed.

Shocked and saddened
I am shocked to hear of the passing of Stephen Uhler. All of us at Old Fort William Cottagers’ Association (OFWCA) send you and all of Stephen’s colleagues at the Daily Observer our heartfelt condolences.
Stephen was so dedicated. He became essential to us at OFWCA. We could count on him to bring our concerns to your readers. He came to many of our events and responded to most of our press releases in these past many months regarding all that worried us about CNL’s two proposals near the Ottawa River. We are tremendously grateful to him and we will miss him very much.
He was too young - such a tragedy.
Johanna Echlin
