Grammy Nominated Songwriter at Batstone Northern Ramble

Dean Batstone hosts the Songwriter’s Showcase welcoming Cris Cuddy May 20, 2017

Cris’ song “Gone Again” is featured on the Grammy Award Nominated Claire Lynch CD “North by South”, and several more have been recorded by Juno Awards Winner Prairie Oyster, IBMA winners Jim Hurst and The Spinney Bros., etc.

As a recording artist he has many well received solo CDs, two LP's with folkers Jeremy Dormouse, and two LP's with Max and the Gorillas whose “Reggae Love” was a popular radio song. His newly released 14th album, Jerry Lee & Elvis, is enjoying radio play in Canada, The USA, and Europe.

Cris' audience can expect a lively blend of the story songs he is known for, including some moving ballads, as well as some driving rhythmic songs which show his rockier side.

“What a treat to have Cris Cuddy and John Lang at our venue, the Old Church Theatre. These seasoned performers played two generous sets of Cris's original songs peppered with some engaging stories. Cris seems to channel Roy Orbison with a trace of Lyle Lovett, but it's all his own original style and music. This is a show you shouldn't miss.” - Brian Weston and Lesley Bonisteel, Old Church Theatre, Trenton ON
