The Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) is proud to announce that École élémentaire et secondaire publique L’Équinoxe in Pembroke has been selected as a model school by the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) for its “Best practices”.

École élémentaire et secondaire publique L’Équinoxe stands out from other schools in the province for its mathematic results, showing, among the evidence of success, effective use of EQAO data to formulate an improved learning plan.

EQAO wishes to emphasize the high success rates of the school. École élémentaire et secondaire publique L’Équinoxe demonstrated, over a period of three years, significant growth towards and beyond the provincial standard.

« This recognition from EQAO demonstrates the success of our students, toward whom we are working very hard every day. I am very proud of all of them. I am very honoured and I owe it all to our dedicated and knowledgeable staff.” Said Rémi Racine, Principal at École élémentaire et secondaire publique L’Equinoxe.

The success story of École élémentaire et secondaire publique L’Équinoxe will be presented on the EQAO website in autumn 2015 and will be accessible to all educational institutions in Ontario.
