Algonquin College Outdoor Adventure Program - BIKE-A-THON Fundraiser
I am an Algonquin College student in the Outdoor Adventure Program here in Pembroke. Our final culminating project requires us to work in groups to plan and execute a multi-day expedition anywhere in the world. I am working with 4 of my peers to travel to Colorado to mountain bike the 254km Kokopelli Trail that runs from Fruita, Colorado to Moab, Utah.
On Monday March 14th, we will be hosting a BIKE-A-THON at the Pembroke campus, just inside the main doors in the common area. The concept is simple, from 8:00am to 4:00pm we will cycling on stationary bikes, non-stop, with interactive prizes set up to encourage the public to make a small donation.
We invite the entire Pembroke community to come watch us suffer on March 14th at the Algonquin College Waterfront campus.
A huge thank-you in advance!
